A high-rise building under construction collapsed in Thailand’s capital, leaving workers possibly trapped inside. The incident occurred after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck neighboring Myanmar on Friday, reaching a depth of 10km and followed by a strong aftershock, according to the United States Geological Survey. Workers were seen fleeing the scene in the Chatuchak neighborhood. Elsewhere in the city, people rushed onto the streets in panic as buildings swayed and water flowed from rooftop pools.
