Lesego Chombo’s unparalleled achievements include winning the Miss Botswana 2022 and Miss World Africa 2024 titles, establishing her own charitable foundation, and becoming Botswana’s youngest cabinet minister at the age of 26. However, her elevation to ministerial office was a surprise as she was not an elected member of parliament but a specially appointed one, and she is now among the six female members of the 69-member National Assembly.
