Cassie Ventura required medical sutures following an incident of physical violence, as revealed in court proceedings.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of violently assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, causing her to need stitches on her forehead, according to testimony from his former stylist at his ongoing trial.

Deonte Nash, who styled both Combs and Ventura, gave evidence in court, stating that he witnessed his former employer attack his then-girlfriend and other individuals. Additionally, Nash testified that Combs had threatened to release sex tapes of Ventura, depicting her engaging in drug-fueled encounters with male prostitutes.

Nash serves as one of the three witnesses who took the stand in the third week of the trial. He revealed that he was subpoenaed to testify and explained that he considered Ventura to be a close friend, having worked as her stylist and seen her regularly.

Describing incidents of abuse, Nash claimed that Combs referred to Ventura using derogatory terms such as “slut” and “ho.” He also testified that Ventura had confided in him her reluctance to participate in sex parties.

In a particularly distressing incident, Nash reported that Combs arrived at Ventura’s Los Angeles apartment while she was asleep. Combs allegedly grabbed her by the hair and began beating her. Nash, along with Ventura and an assistant to Combs named “Mia,” attempted to flee to a bedroom but Combs managed to follow them. The beating continued until Ventura hit her head on a bedframe and started bleeding profusely. Nash and “Mia” intervened by jumping on Combs’ back.

Nash also stated that he tried to call emergency services, but Combs insisted that a member of his security would take Ventura to a plastic surgeon for treatment. The next day, Nash witnessed Ventura on a video call with stitches in her eyebrow.

Nash started his career as an intern at Combs’ record label, Bad Boy, and remains close friends with Ventura until now.

In other developments during the trial, the jury heard testimony regarding conflicts between Combs and rapper Kid Cudi, legal name Scott Mescudi. A Los Angeles Police Department officer and a Los Angeles Fire Department official testified about an incident where Mescudi’s Porsche was set on fire. Photos and evidence related to the incident were presented in court.

Meanwhile, prosecutors questioned an arson investigator about fingerprints recovered from the crime scene. While some prints had a partial match to an unidentified woman, the remaining prints were reportedly destroyed without the investigator’s permission. Combs’ attorneys raised objections, accusing prosecutors of attempting to imply responsibility for the destruction of evidence. The judge denied a request for a mistrial and instructed the jury to disregard the testimony.

Nash is expected to return to the witness stand on Thursday, followed by testimony from Combs’ former personal assistant, “Mia,” during the next two days of the trial.
