Distressed parent of famished infant gives interview to BBC.

1. The son of Hedaya al-Muta’wi, Mohammed, a child of 18 months, experiences malnutrition due to starving and only weighs 6kg.
2. The toddler experiences exhaustion and has lost the ability to either stand or sit up. Hedaya al-Muta’wi informed the BBC, “My husband was killed in the war, and I don’t have a breadwinner, except for God.”
3. She shared that she tirelessly works and labors to provide for her son, who needs baby formula milk. Despite her efforts, she is unable to adequately care for him as she is alone.
