Ex-girlfriend ‘Jane’ of Diddy provides testimony on being pressured to take part in ‘hotel nights’

In Sean “Diddy” Combs’ criminal trial, a woman identified only as “Jane” testified for the second day, describing incidents where she felt forced to have sexual encounters with male escorts while Combs watched, even though these encounters distressed her.

Jane also mentioned how a network of employees assisted in procuring drugs for these encounters, known as “hotel nights” or “freak-offs”, which frequently left her in pain and with infections.

Mr Combs, 55, faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

At the start of the trial, now in its fifth week, defense attorney Teny Geragos argued that the government’s charges overstepped the mark and sought to portray consenting sex between adults as criminal acts.

Prosecutors are using Jane’s testimony to provide evidence that Combs’ activities were criminal, including a specific encounter in New York in 2023, where Jane invited a male sex worker from Atlanta to join her and Combs at the Trump International Hotel.

Jane paid for the escort’s ticket and ensured an envelope with several thousand dollars was left for him at the front desk. Another time, Jane testified that Combs’s chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, instructed her to fetch drugs from Los Angeles for Combs’s Miami mansion.

Jane also said she often saw Combs calling his staff and security to bring drugs to their hotel encounters with escorts.

One of the charges against Combs is racketeering, requiring prosecutors to prove that he was running a criminal enterprise and conspiring to commit crimes.

By the time of the 2023 New York incident, Jane testified that she no longer wanted to participate in these “hotel nights”, yet she still engaged in one that night. Prosecutors questioned why she stayed in the relationship, given her feelings of disgust and repulsion.

Jane explained that she stayed to make her partner happy. Prosecutors highlighted their financial ties, pointing out that Combs was paying Jane’s $10,000 monthly rent, which he continued to do.

Jane testified that they had a “love contract” where Combs promised to give her a monthly allowance for two years, which he would withhold if she resisted the hotel encounters.

Jane also testified on the physical toll of these encounters, including frequent infections and constant pelvic pain, which she did not always disclose to Combs.

R&B singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura also testified about similar encounters with Combs, detailing drug-fueled sexual encounters from their over-a-decade-long relationship.

Cassie will continue to face questioning next week, with Combs’ defense team likely to scrutinize her testimony closely.
