Incoming prime minister announces Canada maintaining its independence: never becoming part of America.

Mark Carney, Canada’s upcoming prime minister, stated that his country will emerged victorious in the trade dispute, which escalated with the United States during President Donald Trump’s administration.

The ex-Bank of England governor spoke to a gathering of Liberal supporters after the outcome of the leadership contest was publicized on Sunday evening.

In his address, Carney vowed that retaliatory tariffs would remain in place “until the Americans demonstrate respect for us.”

Although Donald Trump recently signed orders that considerably extended the products exempted from his newly imposed tariffs on Canada, the White House informed that 62% of Canadian imports may still be subjected to tariffs.
