A police investigation is underway after the bodies of Oscar-winning actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found at their home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Police were called to the residence on Wednesday after maintenance workers discovered the bodies. Hackman’s body had signs of decomposition while Arakawa’s body was mummified. Police deemed the deaths “suspicious enough” to warrant an investigation and did not rule out foul play. No cause of death was given. Hackman’s daughter says her father was in good physical condition and had not undergone any major surgeries in recent months.
