In the Argentine port city of Bahía Blanca, heavy floods have resulted in at least 13 deaths. The torrential rain led to the evacuation of over 1,200 residents from their homes, and extensive areas of the city have been left without power. The deluge caused damage to roads and bridges, with footage showing cars stacked up after being carried away by the floodwaters. On Friday, Bahía Blanca experienced a staggering rainfall of over 400mm (15.7 inches), which is equivalent to a third of the average annual rainfall in the city.
