Waitsfield, Vermont was the site of a gathering of protestors displaying signs in support of Ukraine while Vice-President Vance and his family were on a skiing vacation. Following the demonstrations, the family was relocated from their intended ski resort to an undisclosed location, as per reports from US media.
The seeds for this protest were sown earlier in the week, prior to the US president and vice-president’s disagreement with Zelensky, but many of the signs alluded to the dispute and Russia’s ongoing war with Ukraine.
