Kelly Osbourne Suffered the Loss of Her Closest Companion Following Ozzy’s Passing

After the death of her father Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne expressed her loss of her “best friend.”

Ozzy Osbourne, the heavy metal pioneer, passed away at the age of 76 on Tuesday.

Just a few weeks before his death, Ozzy had performed with Black Sabbath at a farewell show in his hometown of Birmingham.

The concert held special significance for Kelly, as she became engaged to her long-time partner Sid Wilson from the band Slipknot backstage.

In 2003, Ozzy and Kelly released a cover of the Black Sabbath song “Changes” which reached number one on the UK singles chart.

In her first comments since his death, Kelly posted the opening lyrics from the song on Instagram with a broken heart emoji.

The father-daughter duo had a close relationship and were known for their appearances on the MTV reality TV show “The Osbournes” from 2002-2005.

They recently reprised their roles on a family podcast alongside their mother Sharon and brother Jack.

The Osbourne family released a statement on Tuesday expressing deep sadness over the loss of their loved one, stating that Ozzy Osbourne passed away surrounded by love.

Although no specific cause of death was disclosed, Ozzy had faced several health issues and had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019.
