The video captured the moment when a parachutist became trapped on a stadium roof before a rugby match.

In a stunt to deliver the match ball, two parachutists safely landed on the pitch at the Stade de Toulouse ahead of Sale’s Champions Cup game against Toulouse. However, their teammate veered off course, leaving their parachute entangled in the awning, and they were left suspended from the roof.

The spectators in the stands below were relocated as rescue crews determined the best course of action to free the parachutist.

Consequently, the start of the match was postponed by 40 minutes.
