One South Korean national has reportedly chosen to stay in the US to pursue permanent residency. The plane is expected to arrive at Incheon International Airport in Seoul at around 15:30 Seoul time. The departure was delayed by more than a day due to an instruction from the White House. The BBC has reached out to the White House for comment. The South Korean government is negotiating with the US over visa options for Korean workers to prevent such situations from happening in the future. Meanwhile, Hyundai’s CEO has stated that the raid will delay the factory’s opening.
