A SpaceX capsule, carrying a fresh crew, successfully docked at the International Space Station (ISS), enabling astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to finally head home. Initially, their stay on the ISS was scheduled to last for only eight days; however, due to complications encountered with the experimental spacecraft that brought them there, their mission has now spanned over nine months.
Through live broadcast, viewers witnessed the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule docking at the ISS, followed by the ceremonial opening of its hatch. Moments after 0545 GMT, the astronauts exchanged warm embraces and hugs with their colleagues, all experiencing the unique sensation of zero gravity.
