A man featured in the popular 2022 Netflix documentary, The Tinder Swindler, has been arrested in Georgia. Simon Leviev, an Israeli convicted con artist, was detained in Batumi airport at Interpol’s request. Leviev, known for a string of romance fraud and financial crimes totaling around $10m, falsely presented himself as a wealthy diamond mogul heir on the dating app Tinder.
