US singer Chris Brown, known for his hits like “Run It!” and “Look At Me Now,” was arrested on Thursday at a hotel in Manchester by British authorities. He is facing charges of “inflicting grevious bodily harm” in relation to an alleged assault incident at a London nightclub in February 2023, according to a statement from the London Metropolitan Police.
Brown, who is due to perform in Britain next month, will be presented in a magistrate’s court on Friday. The incident occurred at the exclusive Tape nightclub in London over two years ago, where he allegedly attacked music producer Abe Diaw with a bottle. This incident has added to the controversy surrounding Chris Brown’s reputation, which has been marred by allegations of domestic violence and other abusive behavior.
