On Friday, a court in South Korea cancelled the arrest warrant that had been issued for removed President Yoon Suk Yeol, as reported by Yonhap News Agency.
According to local sources, Yoon is set to be released without delay and will continue participating in the ongoing criminal trial.
Yoon was detained in January on accusations of instigating a rebellion after temporarily enforcing martial law in December.
The court has not officially confirmed these reports.
