Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is under a “massive” attack by Russia, according to Energy Minister German Galushchenko. He accused Russia of trying to harm Ukrainian civilians by targeting energy and gas production facilities, while still attempting to leave Ukraine without power and heat. Both Ukraine and Russia have targeted each other’s energy facilities over the past three years. In Kharkiv city, four people were wounded in a strike on civilian infrastructure. Additionally, China called for a “fair, lasting” peace in Ukraine and has refused to criticize its economic support of Russia.
