Film. Civilians Only Orbital Flight Around the Earth conducted by SpaceX

Updated:

The mission will continue for three to five days, with the crew circling Earth multiple times from the north to the south pole at an altitude of approximately 450 km.

Maltese entrepreneur Chun Wang, who funded the all-civilian SpaceX mission, shared footage that captures the crew’s amazement as they fly over Antarctica’s extensive ice sheets.
The Fram2 mission, launched on April 1 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, features four individuals on board a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
The crew, including Wang, Norwegian film director Jannicke Mikkelsen, robotics researcher Rabea Rogge, and polar adventurer Eric Philips, will orbit the Earth from pole to pole. This mission, expected to last between three to five days, marks the first human flight over both poles from space.
