Germany’s economic confidence reached its highest point in two years, however, the eurozone’s trade surplus experienced a significant decline. The strong performance of EU exports to the US, driven by companies attempting to mitigate the impact of potential Trump tariffs by advancing their shipments, was countered by a substantial expansion in the trade deficit with China.
