Britpop legends Oasis have expressed their deep shock and sadness after a fan tragically fell to his death during their concert at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.
The incident occurred toward the end of the band’s set, with the fan falling from the upper tier of the stadium, which has a capacity of 90,000.</p>

<p>"Oasis would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the person involved," the band stated.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident on Sunday, stating they responded to reports of a person injured at 10:19 PM, the end of Oasis's performance.
"A man in his 40s was found with injuries consistent with a fall and tragically died at the scene. We believe numerous witnesses may have captured footage of the event on their mobile phones," the police said.
"If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please contact us at 101."

The Saturday night show was the fourth of five set to take place at Wembley – the final performance occurring prior to these events.
Oasis is set to continue their tour with three shows in Edinburgh and two in Dublin before embarking on the North American leg of their <a href="https://www.euronews.com/culture/2025/07/15/the-oasis-effect-which-bands-should-reunite-next"><strong>Oasis Live ‘25 reunion tour</strong></a>. They will then return to the UK for two more Wembley shows in September. <a href="https://www.euronews.com/culture/2025/08/02/oasis-live-25-european-tour-rumours-circulate-as-no-mainland-eu-dates-yet-announced"><strong>Talks are currently in progress</strong></a> to extend the sell-out tour to mainland Europe.
