Investors bailing out of US assets amid Trump’s bashing of Fed’s Powell and demands for lower interest rates

Investors have been consistently selling off US assets amid the Trump administration’s effort to find a reason to remove Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. In a social media post, Trump has referred to Powell as “a major loser” while pushing for interest rate cuts. As a result, the US dollar has weakened to its lowest level in the past three years.
