Following the unexpected withdrawal of the European Commission’s proposal on Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), a group of Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) are calling for clarification. It has been announced that a discussion with the Industry Commissioner, Séjourné, is scheduled for late April to address the concerns and questions raised by the withdrawal of the proposal.
