In a significant escalation, Russian forces launched a large-scale overnight assault on Ukrainian cities, resulting in at least nine injuries and widespread damage to homes and infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia and Odesa.
Ukraine’s regions experienced a massive Russian attack overnight, as per official reports. In Zaporizhzhia, the assault led to six injuries, including that of a 4-year-old boy, with two houses destroyed and three damaged. In Odesa, a Black Sea port city, three individuals were wounded, and a residential high-rise building along with a shopping centre suffered damage late Thursday. Regional governor Oleh Kiper confirmed that these attacks caused emergency power outages. The Ukrainian military reported that Russia executed 94 airstrikes on Ukrainian forces and settlements, using 151 rockets and 3,000 kamikaze drones.
