A devastating Russian drone assault hit Kharkiv, the second-largest city in Ukraine, on Wednesday evening, leaving at least 12 individuals wounded, including a young girl aged 12, as per local officials and emergency teams.
More than 117 emergency workers were sent to tackle the ensuing blazes and provide support to those affected. A significant fire, spreading over 2,500 square meters, broke out at a production facility, with firefighting activities extending through the night.
The Ukrainian military reported intercepting 42 out of the 86 drones launched by Russia. In addition, 26 more drones failed to reach their intended targets thanks to measures against jamming. Despite these efforts, substantial damage was reported in multiple areas.
