Almost a dozen students were discovered dismembered along a Mexico highway.

Nearing a dozen dismembered bodies, suspected to be those of missing students vacationing in Oaxaca, Mexico, were discovered on Sunday beside a highway, according to local reports. The body parts from at least nine individuals were found within and near an abandoned car, concealed under a blood-stained tarp, reports indicate. Among the gruesome discoveries was a bag containing eight pairs of hands. The car was reportedly found in San José Miahuatlán, at the border of Puebla and Oaxaca. ID cards at the scene matched missing persons Angie Lizeth Perezz Garcia, 29, and Lesly Noya Trejo, 21, outlets report. Other missing individuals include Brenda Mariel N., Jacqueline Ailet N., Noemi Yamileth N., Raul Emmanuel N., Rubén Antonio N., and Rolando Armando N., with one man still unidentified. Puebla’s State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the discovery but could not identify the bodies due to confidentiality.
