Franklin Graham Supports Zelenskyy, Putin, and Trump with Prayers in Berlin during Conflict

Franklin Graham, the head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Berlin to offer prayers seeking divine guidance for peace in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Graham shared on social media that he prayed for Russian President Vladimir Putin, Zelenskyy, and President Donald Trump, asking for wisdom and a path forward for peace. The meeting coincided with the European Congress on Evangelism, where Graham addressed over a thousand Christian leaders from 55 countries, emphasizing the complexities of the war and expressing belief that only God can solve it. Zelenskyy expressed gratitude for the humanitarian aid provided by Samaritan’s Purse and the support from the American people and President Trump. The meeting is taking place against the backdrop of intensified Russian military action in Ukraine, with Zelenskyy having proposed a trilateral summit involving Trump and Putin to negotiate an end to the conflict. The European Congress on Evangelism, which is being held in Berlin for the first time in 25 years, has brought together pastors and ministry leaders from across Europe to declare their faith in the Gospel.
