A best-selling German novelist, identified as Alexandra Fröhlich, was found murdered on her houseboat in Hamburg. Police are investigating the incident, which is being treated as a homicide. One of Fröhlich’s sons discovered her body, and authorities believe she died between midnight and 5:30 a.m. Due to the ongoing investigation, no further details have been released. Fröhlich’s works, including “My Russian Mother-in-Law and Other Catastrophes” and “People Always Die,” have been on Spiegel’s bestseller list. The police are asking for public assistance to solve the crime and have searched the Elbe River for a possible murder weapon.
