Israeli forces make their way back into Gaza City, implementing a blockade.

Israeli forces reinstated the blockade on northern Gaza City on Thursday, shortly after troops were once again deployed into the Gaza Strip. The IDF is continuing its ground operations and warns residents against using main roads to travel into the city. The death toll in Gaza has risen to 592 since Tuesday, with most deaths occurring in the northern town of Beit Lahiya. Israel also shot down a Houthi ballistic missile following the collapse of the ceasefire. IDF troops are also present in the Netzarim corridor, a strategic area of Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel will continue military operations until all hostages are freed.
