A shooting at a pub in Toronto, Canada, on Friday resulted in a dozen individuals being injured, prompting an ongoing search for the suspect by the authorities. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. in the vicinity of Progress Avenue and Corporate Drive in eastern Toronto, close to Scarborough Town Centre. The extent of the injuries suffered by eight of the victims is yet to be determined, with the other four reported to have non-life-threatening injuries. Police described the suspect as wearing a black balaclava mask and fleeing the scene in a silver vehicle. Mayor Olivia Chow expressed her distress over the incident, affirming that all necessary resources have been deployed by Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw for the investigation.
