Sibling of Hamas CaptiveIssues Urgent Plea: TimeIs Limited to Save ThoseImprisoned in Gaza

Evyatar David, an avid music enthusiast who dreams of a career in the music industry, is currently being held in a Hamas tunnel, according to information provided by his brother, Ilay David. In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Ilay stressed the urgency of the situation, stating that Evyatar and the other hostages are running out of time.

Ilay shared his fond memories of playing music with Evyatar, a tradition that he deeply misses. Since October 7, 2023, Ilay has been tirelessly advocating for Evyatar’s release. He described his brother as “the kindest soul [he] knows”.

On October 7, 2023, Evyatar was attending the Nova music festival with friends when Hamas launched its attacks. Two of Evyatar’s friends did not survive, while Evyatar and his best friend, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, were taken hostage.

The family of Evyatar David has created a website to share information about him and highlight the importance of securing his freedom. Visitors can find videos showcasing Evyatar’s guitar skills. In February, the David family received a sign of life when they watched a propaganda film released by Hamas, featuring Evyatar and Guy. Although relieved to see them alive, Ilay was deeply concerned by their emaciated and exhausted conditions.

Ilay’s concerns about his brother’s safety have intensified, particularly after hearing from former hostages who were held with Evyatar. These individuals reported that Evyatar and Guy have spent most of their captivity underground and have limited access to food and water.

Ilay has been actively sharing Evyatar’s story and advocating for his release, including a trip to Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers. He believes that President Donald Trump has a crucial role to play in securing the release of Evyatar and the remaining hostages.

Ilay emphasized that the atrocities of October 7 have not ended and continue to affect those held captive by Hamas in Gaza.
