AFP reporter in Turkey released by court amid police crackdown on university protest

The Turkish court released seven journalists on Thursday who have been detained for their coverage of widespread protests in the country, including AFP photographer Yasin Akgul, according to his lawyer. In a separate incident, police dispersed an anti-government rally in Ankara early Thursday, which could possibly reignite tensions following the arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu.
