Algeria has lodged a formal complaint following France’s recent indictment of three individuals, including an Algerian consular representative, in connection to the alleged kidnapping of Amir Boukhors in April 2024. Boukhors, a prominent social media personality and critic of the Algerian government, is currently the subject of nine international arrest warrants sought by the Algerian authorities.
