Amnesty International Reports: More than 10,000 People Lost in Two Years of Conflict in Northern and Central Nigeria

Nigeria has witnessed over 10,000 casualties in central and northern regions within the two years since the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu, according to Amnesty International’s Thursday statement. The organization attributed this to the government’s inadequate efforts in curbing the proliferation of jihadist assaults, bandit invasions, and intercommunal strife.
