Despite ongoing diplomatic efforts to put an end to the conflict in Ukraine, the war continues to rage on the ground. There have been limited ceasefire agreements that have prevented both Russia and Ukraine from targeting energy infrastructure, as well as measures to stabilize navigation of Black Sea shipping routes. However, there is still fierce fighting occurring along the front line, with drone attacks and artillery combat being exchanged by both Russian and Ukrainian troops. FRANCE 24 reporters were able to film the situation with a Ukrainian artillery unit near the front line of Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine, which has been one of the most intense combat areas of the conflict. One exhausted artillery operator expressed his simply desire to go home.
