Azerbaijan has demanded that Armenia address its “legitimate demands” prior to the two countries moving forward with the peace treaty that they agreed upon last month. This is not the first time that Baku has urged Yerevan to adjust Armenia’s constitution. They want the territorial claims on the Nagorno-Karabakh region, taken by Azerbaijan from Armenian separatist forces in 2024, to be removed.
