In certain regions of northern Europe, there’s considerable concern among farmers regarding the impact of the severe drought, which is considered one of the most extreme in decades. The abnormally arid weather this spring has significantly held back the growth of crops such as wheat and corn, which under normal conditions would already have started to emerge.
