French music icon Cerrone released his latest album, Disco Symphony, on Friday, February 21. Renowned as the “godfather of French disco,” Cerrone played a pivotal role in the development of the French Touch in the 1990s. With over five decades of experience spinning tracks in clubs and festivals worldwide, Cerrone continues to be a source of inspiration for new generations of artists. His songs have even made their way onto the soundtrack for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Cerrone shared his insights and stories with France 2 during an interview at the Philharmonie de Paris.
