China has strongly criticized nations for striking trade agreements with the United States at China’s expense and has threatened to retaliate against those “appeasing” Washington. Globally, tariffs are at 10%, but China is facing duties as high as 145%. In response, Beijing has implemented its own 125% tariffs on goods from the United States as the trade war intensifies.
