Colombia tragedy: At minimum 18 fatalities due to combined truck bomb and helicopter assault

Two dissident guerrilla group attacks in Colombia have resulted in the deaths of 18 individuals and left numerous others injured, according to authorities. These incidents occurred on Thursday and involved a truck bombing in Cali, as well as the downing of a police helicopter via a drone at a coca farm located in the northern region of the country. As a result of these attacks, Colombia is currently facing its most severe security crisis in several decades.
