Anne Frank, a 15-year-old Jewish girl, passed away in March 1945 due to typhus at Germany’s Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. Her documented account of her final years in hiding from Nazi persecution in Amsterdam has become a global phenomenon since the publication of her diary. Since its initial release in 1947, Anne Frank’s diary has become one of the most widely read books worldwide.
