DOJ under Trump launches grand jury investigation about Obama-era officials in connection to ‘Russiagate’ scandal

On Tuesday, the US Justice Department initiated a grand jury investigation to examine alleged falsifications of intelligence regarding Russian interference in elections during the Obama administration. These allegations were brought forward by Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. Nevertheless, Democratic lawmakers have discarded such investigation as politically inspired.
