Following her victory on Stage 8, Pauline Ferrand-Prévôt of France celebrated her success by wearing the iconic yellow jersey at the prestigious Tour de France.


A French cyclist dominated the mountainous Stage 8 of the Tour de France, outpacing her competitors before ascending to the Col de la Madeleine finish, securing France’s first yellow jersey. The 33-year-old Olympic mountain bike champion is poised to claim her first victory in the Tour de France, following her triumph at Paris-Roubaix in April. Mauritian cyclist Kim Le Court was voted out of the race after a crash during a descent, with 65km still to go.
