In response to the escalating situation, Lombard noted that while the government plans to persist with its deficit reduction strategies, France’s economic growth for the euro zone’s second-largest economy has been revised to 0.7%—falling short of the initially anticipated 0.9%, which was the basis for the 2025 budget projections.
