French Court Set to Decide Case of Jihadist Charged with Kidnapping Journalists in Syria

A court in France will make a ruling on Friday regarding Mehdi Nemmouche, a 39-year-old convicted French jihadist who has been accused of taking four journalists hostage for the Islamic State group in war-torn Syria more than ten years ago. Nemmouche is currently serving prison time for the murder of four individuals at a Jewish museum in Brussels in May 2014.
