A recent G7 summit in Banff, Canada featured a unified stance from leaders regarding Israel’s right to self-defense following its strike on Iran last week. This resulted in a cycle of violence that has claimed hundreds of lives. Despite this, no joint statement was issued in support of Ukraine due to the US’s request to modify the language.
