Big George, who is affectionately known by this name, dropped out of school as a teenager and then achieved great success as a boxer. He won the Olympic gold medal for boxing and went on to become the heavyweight champion after defeating Joe Frazier. However, he lost his title to Muhammad Ali in the famous “Rumble in the Jungle” boxing match that took place in 1974 in Kinshasa, DR Congo.
