The electoral results in Greenland have witnessed a significant win for the centre-right Demokraatit party, which advocates for a gradual approach towards independence from Denmark. The party secured 29.9% of the vote in Tuesday’s parliamentary elections. Positioning itself as Greenland’s most fervent pro-independence political entity, the nationalist Naleraq party followed closely, garnering 24.5% of the vote.
