Israel’s armed forces plan to halt hostilities in three sections of the Gaza Strip amid caution from authorities regarding the looming threat of hunger.

The Israeli military announced it will implement a “tactical pause” in combat operations for 10 hours each day within three populous areas of Gaza City, Deir al-Balah, and Muwasi to enhance the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.
