On Wednesday, a significant number of people gathered along the path of the funeral procession to pay their respects to the Bibas family, whose three members were kidnapped by Palestinian militants on October 7, 2023 and tragically lost their lives while in captivity in Gaza. Helped by Hamas, the remains of Shiri Bibas and her children, Kfir and Ariel, were brought back to Israel last week as part of the ongoing negotiations for a truce between Israel and Hamas.
