Man accused of murdering Minnesota Democratic politician apprehended following extensive two-day search

A suspect has been apprehended following a two-day search for the individual responsible for the murder of a former Minnesota House speaker and the injury of a state senator. The police announced on Sunday that Vance Boelter, 35 years old, has been detained in relation to the incidents that resulted in the deaths of Melissa Hortman and her spouse, as well as injuries to Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, in two separate suburban Minneapolis residences.
